Meet Letitia
Hi! My name is Letitia Underwood. I call myself YOUR Executive APP Empowerment Consultant. My first love is Critical Care. I am a dual certified Nurse Practitioner in the areas of Family and Acute Gerontology Acute Care.
I am currently the lead Critical Care Nurse Practitioner at one of the larger hospitals in Southwest Georgia. For the past four and a half years, I’ve assisted in establishing the critical care program at my hospital. We have three different ICUs at our facility. As a "Lead Nurse Practitioner", I am an advocate for the Advanced Practice Provider, the Nurse Practitioner, and the Physician Assistants teams. There, I assist in helping them define roles, encourage training, and scheduling. Also, I assist in creating a bridge between nurses, APPs, doctors, and hospital administration.
My ultimate goal is to empower Advanced Practice Providers and to encourage you to operate in excellence at the top of your license. I want to ensure you that your work has not been in vain. I want to provide you with the tips and tools that I wish someone would have told me. Let's work together to see your goals materialized!
Last but not least, I desire to promote Advanced Practice Provider use in Intensive Care Units around the United States. We make a difference in length of stay and patient outcomes. I believe it is a win-win situation.
